when habitats are lost this causes a great deal and is how most animals become endangered and then extinct.

pollution is also a big part of it, when the waterse get polluted and animals drink out of them it is easy for them to get sick and even die from the diseases in the water.

Sometimes there is too many animals living in one area and they always fight for the limited food and water supplied.

Animals also become endangered because of their predators.

People do still illegally kill animals which will obviously harm the numbers there are left.

Our world is always changing which means the habitats will easily change, habitats can change because of global warming and for the animals that live in colder areas it is hard for them to survive.

Research one example of how habitat loss has led to the endangerment of a species.

Loss of a habitat or the “native home” of a animal is usually the most important cause of endangerment. Nearly all plants and animals require food, water, and shelter to survive, just as humans do.
Some plants and animals are highly specialized in their habitat requirements. A specialized animal in North Dakota is the piping plover, a small shorebird which nests only on bare sand or gravel on islands of rivers or shorelines of alkali lakes. Such animals are much more likely to become endangered through habitat loss than a generalist like the mourning dove, which nests successfully on the ground or in trees in the country or city. The Panda suffers habitat loss and is nearly extinct due to land clearing and many more things, if there were more bamboo and more habitats for the Giant Pandas theyd have no problems.

Losing an animals home or habitat is one of the main factors of endangerment to animal species.
Animals almost require all the resources of what we need to live in our daily life like food, water and shelter. There are other causes like overexploitation, new exotic species and habitat destruction, but their are people and organisations trying to help and save the animal from extinction.
Giant Pandas are getting extinct because of land clearing but mostly hunting or poaching, and if the Pandas had more to eat like bamboo they might actually live longer!!

Loss of habitats is caused by people who clear the land of trees and holes to make room for town and other things such as power plants.

All the animals that live in that live in the trees or holes die because they loose their homes and their supply of food or they get crushed by the machinerys or by falling of trees.

The most cause of endangerment is loss of habitats, because if an animal looses it’s home, it’ll looses it’s supply of food. Every plant and animal needs food, water and other things to live just like humans need. So habitats destruction will always end and innocent animal will always die.

things that cause habbitat lose or species lose are:
pollution of water, when water gets polluted and animals that drink the water may become sick and may die due to harmful things in the pollution.

other thing that will cause species lose are poching which will lower the number of animal that remain in the wild.

things that cause habbitat lose are people removing trees for farming a therefore removing natural habbitat that animals live in.

another thing that will cause habbitat lose is global warming for example if the habbitat is on the coast and the sea level rises the habbitat will be covered in water and will not be able to used by any animal that is land or air based.

the main reason for habitat and species loss is gloabal warming, the earth is continue-ously changing because of global warming, although habitats don’t change suddenly they will change in over time.
another main cause is from us humans, destructing their habitats, no body ever askes themselve what it would be like if some one came along and ruined their home.
less place to live, the die off, if more and more die off that particual species is facing extinction.
captive breeding does slow this extinctionness down, although in some cases, it may prevent extinction from happening.

when we talk about the loss of one kind of animal we are not just talking about the animal being lost but its habitat and food socures are also beind destoryed or damaged in some way. There are many reasons why the anmails an habitats of the animals are being destoryed. Here are some of those reasons…..
Habitat destrucation .This is caused by most human activity. It is also caused becasue of our plant. Our plant is change, When it does change slowly the animals and ther habitats can normally adpat to this but when the plant changes at afaster rate the animals and their habitats can not keep up with this.
Introducation of exotic animals and plants
This is when a environment is going along happy with plenty of native animals and plants live a normal life and then suddenly there is animals introduced into their habitats and they destory them

“What Causes Habitat And Species Loss”
    good question, heres my answer.
The destoyance of habbitate and species is cause by various things
the first one ill say is the indroduction of exotic species the types that wernt there to start off with, they are introduced and most dont addapt well to the environment and start to destroy or damage the surroundings.
Another aspect of what causes habbitat loss is when people destroy it
like when people do logging and deforestation, not cool man
logging and deforestation are big factors in why habitat and species loss is going on because if the species dont have a habitat where will they live and survive?
stupid mean people cut down all the trees to make room for houses and junk that we dont even need

    and thats my answer :)))))))))))))))))))

What causes habitat and species loss?
The main causes of habitat and species loss is global warming and human activity. Some other causes are clearing of land where animals live to make way for factories or agrilculture, also preditaion is causing animals to leave there homes because they force them away and animals eating our rubbish we throw on the ground thinking that it is something they eat for food. This ends up killing them.
When land is taken away, no trees are replanted for the animals to live in. This makes animals have no places to live or have anything to eat.
Us humans are relying on the resorces that most animals need. We need to try and figure out what else we can use without harming endangered animals or any animals in general.

What causes habitat and species loss?

There are many problems which cause habitat and specie loss. One of these factors is habitat destruction. Habitat Destruction is where Earth is always changing in ways especially the temperature, this is a natural transformation and is a process which changes slowly. Animals and plants adapt to the environment and the surrounding temperature. However all the people in the world are causing the Earth to heat up to rapidly, this is caused Global Warming.
Another reason is called Introduction of Exotic Species. This is when a new plant or animal is introduced to the natural habitat. Adding a new species into an environment can have a lot of consequences and could potentially cause a lot of damage. You see in every biosphere there is a fragile food chain or food web and if you add something to it, it could potentially put it all out of balance.
Over exploitation is another factor which can easily cause a devastating outcome. Over exploitation is the deliberate hunting of an animal. There are many more reasons like disease and pollution but it is important we do something to address these issues immediately and discover new ways to stop harming the wildlife.

The cause of habitat and species lost is usually because of us humans, we think that we need sheltor and food just as much as they do but its not true, animals need sheltor and food otherwise they die become useless to us and then we dont get simple things like meat or fish. We are always the ones tearing down trees or taking down forests just because we think that we need homes and land, but did we ever stop to think about the animals, what they would be going through, obviously we dont but i think we need to stop and think about what we are doing, its going to harm more and more animals everyday, we need to find a way of getting rid of land in a healthy way without endangering more animals.

Research one example of how habitat loss has led to the endangerment of a species.

habiate loss has caused many species to become endangered. habitates are being destroyed by us humans. normally if the habitate is changing slowly the animals living in that habitate can gradully adapted to the changes. when us humans change the rate of the destruction to the rainforest, the ocean or any other habitate the change is happening to fast and animals can not keep up with the changing of there home, therefore causing many speices to become endanged and fall dangerously close to becoming extinct.
another change to the habitate is bringing in exotic animals this is also caused by humans. sometimes to try and help a certain matter like the cane toad to eat the pest eating the sugar cane, or they have been accidentally been brought into a country and is now destroying habitates in which animals live.

What causes habitat and species loss?
Some things that cause animal species and habitat loss include pollution, competition with other animals, disease, predation and illegal killing. These effect the instant drop of habitats and species because they can not do anything to stop all of these really bad situations.

What causes Habitat and species Lost?

some hey reasons of habitat and species loss are global warming, habitat destruction, Inrtoduction of exotic species, Overexploitation and diseases that can be brought on by humans.

Overall people are really the cause because even just someone accidently stepping on a nest of some sort can make a big difference. When one habitat is harmed a hole load of animals are harmed even though it might not be there home it might be there food’s home. Simply just not harming a animal when you see it about helps alot let alone not cutting down trees which is a great deal of help but human’s are to selfish and think about themselves before our environment

What Causes Habitat And Species Loss
well there are many things these days that are destroying habitats and species, some of these are:
    clearing of land
    polluution
    introducing of other species
    competition between species
    global warming
    haman ativity…

there are many more but they are enough for now and they are the main ones.
humans and human activitie is destroying these wonderful habitats, we are clearing land which is taking away the homes of many animals and once their home is gone that also means that the animal that once lived there will also disappear which could and most deffinatly would put them on the way to being extinced.

what causes habitat and species loss?
i recon the main cause of habitat and species loss is global warming.
there are other causes that are clearing the land where animals live to make way like house’s and factories things like that.
Some animals are forced out of there homes because of preditation and they die because they can’t survive in the open with know home/habitat.
Also when we drop rubbish on the ground animals eat it and die maybe from it clogging their airways.
They don’t always die but you should drop your rubbish on the ground.
When us humans cut down tree its also putting animals homeless and they will die.

What causes habitat and species loss?
    over the years lots of habitats and different species of animals have been lost due to different causes, some of these inculde;
pollution which is endangering lots of the plants and wildlfie, the building of houses, buildings, roads and farmlands which leave the habitats lost and the animals no where to live. the brining in of new and foren plants and animals which could be harmful to the native planst and animals.
some more reasons why some animals and habitats are becoming endangered is the over crowding of animals and plants in one area. when the amount on plants and animals increases the habitat they are living in cannot support the amount in the area which destroys the habitat and the naimals living in it.

What causes habitat and species loss?
the causes of habitat and species loss is from human activity and global warming. other causes are: land clearing, agriculture, factoires and predators making the animals leave there habitats and causing to eat things that aren’t good for them and end up killing them. when trees and land is used too for factories or other things, is causing them to flea somtimes this may mean crosing the road and some of them get hit by cars and some are lucky and make it through. also some species are killed off from when there habitat is cut down. aslo poaching is a big problem in africa and china :( most people in china poach the animals and keep them as a pet or try to breed them.

Land clearing, Introducing of other species, Human activity and land development, also the different species fighting for territory and also pollution.
Human activity would be the main cause for the destroying of habitats which causes the species to die off and become extinct and without human help the will never return to their natural habitats.

      Renee B :) (20:25:33) :

habitat lose has many cause liek global warming destroying the animals but over a peroid of time it also kills the plant life a resources in the habitat. Other reson are land clearing and deforestation by human which wipe out lot of different species.
Polloution also kills lots of animals beecause they choke or drink the things we discard and the they die and create more polloution becaise the had the rubbish or chemical inside them.
